As the lead designer for Circularise, I spearheaded a comprehensive brand transformation project that encompassed creating robust brand guidelines, designing cohesive stationery, developing website and social media assets, and producing explanatory guides and videos. The project focused on expanding the organization's visual identity to effectively communicate complex sustainability concepts through compelling, innovative design across multiple mediums. By collaborating closely with the team, I crafted a consistent visual language that simplified intricate ideas, strengthened the brand's presence, and visually articulated Circularise's mission and vision, ensuring a powerful and engaging representation of the company's core values and objectives.

Brand Guidelines



I expanded the brand guidelines from a basic 5-page document to a comprehensive 50-page manual. This process was more than just a design task; I co-organized a multi-step process involving department heads to brainstorm and extract crucial brand elements. This collaborative effort resulted in defining the brand's new purpose, goals, values, mission, and attributes. I then filled in the missing gaps from the original document and ensured that the new guidelines matched accessibility standards. The final extensive guide covers all aspects of the brand's visual identity, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints and platforms while reflecting the company's newly defined core principles.



Stationery

I expanded the stationery design to create a comprehensive and modern business collateral suite. This included redesigning business cards equipped with QR codes linking directly to individual's LinkedIn profile, enhancing networking efficiency. I crafted a professional-looking letterhead and branded envelope, ensuring a cohesive external communication system. The stationery suite was further expanded with branded folders, presentation materials, and corporate document templates. Each item was carefully considered to reflect the brand's identity while maintaining functional elegance, transforming these everyday business tools into strategic brand communication assets that leave an impression of sophistication and modernity.



Guides

I developed guides in both printed and web versions, available in English and Japanese. This multilingual approach showcases my ability to create content for diverse audiences and adapt designs for different formats. The guides covered essential elements such as brand core values, visual identity guidelines, and content standards. By offering both physical and digital versions, I ensured accessibility for various team members and external partners. The inclusion of Japanese versions demonstrates capability to adapt content for international markets, considering cultural nuances in design and communication. These guides serve as a crucial resource for maintaining brand consistency, enabling teams to create cohesive and on-brand materials efficiently, regardless of their location or preferred format.



Social media templates

I created a suite of social media templates using accessible software to streamline the content creation workflow. These templates included pre-designed layouts for various post types, customizable color schemes aligned with brand guidelines, and placeholder areas for images and text. I ensured the designs were responsive and suitable for different platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter. By using user-friendly software, I enabled the marketing team to quickly create on-brand content without advanced design skills. This approach not only saved time but also ensured visual consistency across all social media channels while maintaining flexibility for various content types. The templates I created allowed for efficient production of professional-looking social media content, reinforcing brand identity across digital platforms.

The master deck I created for Circularise serves as a crucial asset in client acquisition, offering a universal layout that streamlines workflow for several client-facing members of the organization. By providing a consistent and professional template, it enables team members to present the company's value proposition effectively and efficiently. This universally applicable tool not only ensures brand consistency but also empowers various departments to deliver compelling presentations without extensive design skills, which allows for quick customization, saving time and maintaining quality across all client interactions. The deck's progression from its original version to a refined second iteration demonstrates its adaptability to evolving needs and feedback.

I created a diverse range of video content to enhance brand visibility and engagement. This included shooting, co-directing, and editing an HR promotional video showcasing the company culture, as well as producing a founder promo for LinkedIn highlighting key messages about Circularise's mission and innovative solutions. I also developed various animations, such as a looped logo animation serving as a dynamic background . To boost event engagement, I created teaser trailers and virtual tour snippets for event attendance promos. These video elements were designed to be eye-catching and informative, effectively communicating Circularise's brand identity and value proposition across different platforms and contexts.
